The Willow Sourcebook was written by Allen Varney and published by Tor Books
in 1988. Its 90 pages include extensive background information on every named character
in the movie as well as many characters who weren't in the film at all. It also features
rich, encyclopedic descriptions of the various creatures in Willow's world; a detailed
map of the lands Willow travelled; extensive illustrations and eight pages of color
photos; and suggestions for
creating your own Willow roleplaying game.
The book is long out of print, although it can occasionally be found on eBay and at used booksellers. The text of the book is reproduced here as a service to fans, but the numerous unique illustrations are not; if you want to see those, you'll need to find a copy of the book.
