Script by Steve Ayromlooi (In Tha Hood Productions) dated September 2002:

This copy of the script might possibly be the coolest one in existence, because it originally belonged to Warwick Davis himself. He gave it to me as a surprise gift on the last day of my visit to the Lep 6 set, leaving me literally openmouthed with shock. Overjoyed, yes, but utterly surprised - I NEVER expected anything like this to happen. Is he cool or what?!? THANK YOU WARWICK!!
He had already autographed it and addressed it to me (in gold, appropriately), and with Warwick's encouragement I also got Lep makeup artist Gabe Bartalos to autograph it. They're the only two people who have worked on all six Lep movies. However, Warwick did NOT authorize me to post it on the webpage - I took that liberty on my own and never asked him about it.
The script is a bit rumpled from use, which makes it even more interesting as a piece of Leprechaun history. The title page indicates that the script was modified several times, with a white version (9/5/02) and a blue version (9/20/02). But the color of some pages in this script indicates that it's the pink revision. No date is given for this version, but I would guess that it's somewhere between the September 20th blue revision and the start of filming on September 30th. The screenplay is named In Tha Hood, which was the working title for the movie.
The script contains quite a lot of material that didn't make it into the finished film, most of it dealing with the human characters. Overall it was a wise decision to cut this stuff, since it's the Leprechaun that we really want to see and this additional focus on the people would have slowed down the action. But it's very good to read this extra material; it fills in a lot of story details and provides a better understanding of the characters' motivation. And some of the deleted scenes are fun even though the Leprechaun isn't in them! The script does include one killing that didn't make it into the movie; according to the DVD commentary, they actually filmed it but the end result was too cheesy-looking to use.
