The "hot" burner had a red light shining from above and another shining underneath to give it a glow for the camera. This drawer may be bottomless. There's also a wire attached to the back end of it. The cupboard must have a hole in it too. The Leprechaun's body wouldn't fit at this angle if it was solid.

The acting goes a little over the top. A moment that would look perfectly natural in the middle of an action sequence can look pretty funny in a still photo. Ken Olandt's double risks his valuables. I don't know who's playing the role of the Leprechaun hand. A large amount of padding was used when the shotgun was fired indoors. One camera is in sort of a booth with a clear shield in front and padding all around. There was also a safety meeting on the gun and testing so that everyone would know what to expect.

Ken Olandt runs for the camera but his double did the actual shooting, in this scene at least. I originally thought this tall set was the barn, but it's actually the house. With enough computer enhancement, it's possible to see a little of the furniture inside.

It looks like the Leprechaun is shooting a closeup, but then an unidentified woman gets in front of the camera. Maybe Jennifer Aniston is expected shortly, and in the meantime her double is helping the crew adjust the equipment. The same woman is used as a double in several other pictures. Meanwhile, a crew member ignores the "No Smoking" sign to deliver some atmosphere. Looks like they're waiting for someone off-camera to finish their part of the setup. Such delays are part of the job on a movie set.

Mark Holton's stunt double. The chase through the house continues. In Script scene 80, Alex hits the Lep with a bat. The Leprechaun seems to think it's pretty funny. The script only calls for the Leprechaun to snarl after he's been hit. But Warwick Davis had a lot of freedom to play the part the way he wanted to, and created a very entertaining character.
