The first Hullywood took place in Hull, England on May 16, 2004.

The guests at the first event were Warwick Davis and Peter Burroughs. We all know who Warwick is of course; Peter has appeared in many movies including Return of the Jedi, Willow, Labyrinth, The 10th Kingdom, and The Dark Crystal. On top of all that, he's Warwick's father-in-law.

The UK Garrison Star Wars costuming group was on hand to give fans some picture-taking opportunities, with all proceeds donated to the Normandy Veterans Association for the 60th D-Day anniversary.

The Sisters of Duress Star Trek group was there too, dressed as assorted characters. The event also included slot car racing circuits, vehicle displays, and a vast amount of collectables for sale including movie memorabilia, sci-fi stuff, comics, trading cards, trains, Dinky & Corgi, models, vintage toys, posters, dolls... well, you get the idea - it was a lot of fun!
