This interview with actor Phil Fondacaro dealt mostly with his horror career in such movies as Troll and Bordello of Blood, barely mentioning his roles in Willow and Return of the Jedi. It also mentioned a movie that he didn't appear in:

FANGORIA: Where you ever up for Leprechaun?

FONDACARO: Yes, I was. I read for Leprechaun right after Willow. It was something I wanted but didn't want, because I was afraid I'd end up being the Leprechaun for the rest of my life. So I really wasn't disappointed when they came back to me and said, "We want to go with someone who is a little more of a name." I know Warwick [Davis] very well and we're very good friends, so I had no problem with him doing that. I probably would have ended up passing on it anyway.
